BlackbirdWS6's Blown 1997 Firebird TA WS6 Convertible 6spd

There is a build thread documenting most of what occurred while building the car however it got a bit lengthy. This is the consolidated thread for those interested in just the details.

As some of you know, much of this would not have been possible without the help of the JSFBOA, other friends, and my wife. The build was certainly not a walk in the park but when I'm older and look back, it will give me a ton of fond memories. Everything was built in-house aside from the exhaust from the headers back. The roll bar was welded at a friends shop.

The Car:
1997 Firebird TA WS6 Convertible 6spd
GMHTP Feature - January 2012

709RWHP / 616RWTQ - Dynojet/tuned by RPM
11.3@131 on 2.0 60' - Will be working on this next season

350 block bored 30 over and clearanced for a 3.75 stroker crank
4-bolt splayed mains - ARP hardware
Callies Dragonslayer Forged Crank - 3.75 stroke

Thanks guys. Should be a good season to enjoy it much more. Finally got the tune where it needs to be for basic driveability and cooling situation is now under control.

It would stick out like a sore thumb. Looks nice in the pic because the interior is dominated in tan leather. This is not the case in the bird.
