Anybody have a source that can build me some control arms?

I gen'l don't like to bad mouth manf on the WWW, but I've had a set of stock AMC control arms at Steve Spohn's for a couple of YEARS now, and he was supposed to build me some tubular replacements, and then go into production with these arms for anybody else who wanted 'em. Well, I've gotten nothing but infrequent lip service from him, and come on...I've been waiting YEARS now! So now it looks like I have to take time outa my schedule, drive up to Pennsyltucky, and rescue my stock arms and go back to square one. Well, does anybody know of a manf. within driving distance from Central Jerz that I can look into for the manf of these arms? I'm not even looking for a production run anymore. I just want a set for myself so I can rebuild my front end in the spring.

Thx.

Are there any other options to you? Like maybe rebush them with good bushings? I used Global West del-a-lum bushings on my lower arms. I probably should have boxed them, but really the weak point on these is around the ball joint.

Also, try calling Mark at SC&C or calling SPC directly. I have their uppers.

UB, from CJCFO bigtomZ built my torque arm mount. I don't have his number anymore, maybe Fred still keeps in touch with him? Tom's work was outstanding!

Hey Bonz,

Well, I'm looking for weight reduction, strength, mo' adjustability, a "proper" coil over mount, revised camber curve, and OH, YEAH...GOOD LOOKS!

As far as doing anything w/ the stock arms...boxing would add a lot of weight, and the arms are structurally weak in the area where the bushings go in, and there ain't a real easy way to beef 'em there.

I talked with Sc&c Marcus way back when, and he was pretty honest with me...in the fact that he would probably just farm a custom job out to Spohn. They work together on a lot of stuff, but Spohn is f'n outa town with this kinda time frame! I had a lot of AMC guys pretty excited about getting this project out, and thanks to Spohn not only don't I have a product for my car, but I got egg on my face from promoting it to the AMC guys. Steve even admitted he was getting a lot of interest from the AMC guys, so why he hasn't at least tried to look like he was doing something is beyond me.

They were also powder coating wheels, but stopped. Guess it wouldn't hurt to give them a holla...
