Tires wheels and brakes coming soon
Been slightly busy with the new apartment and work so I haven't really had an opportunity to update.
So after talking to Rob I settled on some new brakes. Doing some CTS V II 6 piston brembos up front and right now nothing in the rear till I figure out what will work with the Moser 12.
So to fit them I needed to up to some 18's and what better wheels to get then some weld wheels RTS. Ordered new and received them in a months time. Black finish with polished lip.
Wrapping the wheels with Toyo R888s which are on back order until April. (On wait list) 275/35R18 front 315/30R18 rear.
Ordered a new on car adjustable panhard to help center the rear. Waiting for BMR to release there watts link to finish up the suspension.

I like those wheels.
R888s? Wow, what kind of racing you doing? Are you going to have street tires/wheels too?

I have a few friends running the same tire on the street and they are absolutely amazing both cars making more power.
Right now the car is a weekend cruiser but hoping to get to some tracks this year to have some fun and test her out

Sounds good Paul. Think I'm going to have Mike pick them up for me or I can grab them when I get back from vacation

I'm guessing the pic was taken at his work, so BMW ones, either replacements or rebuilds for a customers car.
IF they are for his car though.. more details please.

Recently. I think MB is copying that design for the GT Coupe thing. I recall reading about it months back.

Couldn't fit the rear wheels in the car.
Spindles are going for powder coating Monday
Rotors are going to the machine shop Monday as well to have the center hub bored out to fit the 4th gen hubs
After that should be ready for assembly.

These pictures are nowhere near representative of what they looked like in person. Good God!

Why not machine the hymns rather than the rotors? Never know when you may need to do brakes without having time to have them machined

I guess that can be done but might require more work. Not sure how they could take the metal off the outer diameter of the hub. With the rotor I can bring it to our local shop in Morristown and pick it up later that day
