36" bobcat walkbehind mower $450 plus more

kohler engine. 5 forward gears.

We stopped landscaping in 2004.

It ran when put in storage, been sitting since 2005. Update: has been tuned up and runs

deck and frame still very solid. ill include a round plastic catcher. mounts are already on it.

$450

I will trade for a working welder(220v preferably)

I also have 48" deck ONLY available as well as an older bobcat frame/engine combo.
$50 each.

As the I clean Out, some more landscaping stuff will become available. parts and half machines mainly.

I do have an OLD big box type aeroseeder too i have to dig out.

I'll get pics this weekend. Today I pulled out and cleaned my 36" SCAG and took off the blades to sharpen them. The Bobcat sits right next to it.

I'll verify that it does turns over and for all I know, it may even start with fresh gas. I'm thinking worst case it may need a carb rebuild and an oil change.

the rust on the deck is mainly from the ceiling. Motor is currently locked up after all, but I will free it up this weekend. It ran when put away so its just from moisture over the years. Some PB blaster in the cylinder should help that.
and one tire is pretty worn.

oh and turns out this wasn't the one jay mohr used. He used the other one which i sold last year.

other stuff...

TTT $450 now. I'll post new pics tomorrow.

Today I dragged it out of the work garage and put a considerable amount of time into it. I washed it and easily got the motor to turn. Then I did all basic maintenance.

fresh oil, ($8)
new oil filter, ($10)
new air filter and pre-filter, ($15)
new spark plug, ($4)
new fuel filter, ($10)
new fuel line, ($3)
new gas cap, ($10)
Carb rebuild kit ($20)
(so far 6 hours and $80 invested)

I also removed the gas tank and drained it completely to get any stale fuel out of it.
After adding new fuel, I did manage to get it to fire up, however that was with pouring a little gas in the intake.
I took apart the carb and cleaned the gunk out of it. The gaskets were shot as well as the needle valve. I got a rebuild kit and replaced the needle valve as well as the gaskets.

Runs fine now.

What it will need...
-tires or at least 1 inner tube replaced(one doesnt hold air, and tread on both are worn)
-replacement or at least adjustment of the belts(drive and blade belts)
-paint on the mower deck
-few replacement pins, bolts, and cotter pins to tighten controls up.
-sharpen the blades

The longer I have this mower, the more I will work on it in my spare time. But the more I work on it and fix stuff, the more the price will go up. At least now any potential buyers can rest assured the motor runs and the electronics are functioning.

Carb rebuild kit installed and new pull cord rope installed. Starts and runs fine, no fuel leaks anymore.
