Went to Etown test and tune and just squeezed in 3 runs before getting hammered by the thunderstorms. I picked up a new PB in street trim, previous best was 11.48 @ 121:
Car sounded great. Felt bad for those you slaughtered....well not really. I bet that ride home was fun. I thought you ran a 11.3 a while back in street trim?

I really want the go pro vid off the hood of that last evo I raced haha.
Nah, only made 2 passes in street trim right before the 2012 race wars...12.0@120, then 11.48@121 - epic BigPal commentary:

2017 Silverado 2500 do you even lift breh?
So what do you change between street and track trims to gain that >0.5 second & >5 mph differential?
Drag wheels/ slicks are over 100lbs lighter than my street setup, <half tank of gas, hauling less stuff around. DA also makes a pretty big difference - On my last run, the 60' was slower than the first pass, but I still went quicker from the late cool air. I think it could go 11.0 with a perfect launch in street mode.

Yeah, I figured you'd change to the big/littles and expected the air to be different (I actually thought you'd have better air at the rental than you would last night, I know it was humid up here).
That's a big difference, though. I'm sure if you kept going last night you'd keep shaving that number down. Congrats kirk.

Did you guys see the Aston Martin make a pass? He was being quite a foo in the staging lanes.

He's gone 10.72 at the rental in better air. The da last night was about +200 feet around 6:20 but the relative humidity helped for faster than sea level times, I think.
Yeah he came in for the 3rd set of runs. did like 40 in reverse in the lanes cause he went in the wrong one. I was wondering how things would go for him...
Was very surprised not a single reverse launch was had, we need to go again soon so I can see this in real life. With the amount of bad staging, it should happen.

Congrats! I saw you pull into the lanes, I was catching up with some guys that I hadn't seen in a while otherwise I would've introduced myself. They really moved things along because of the storm.
