Where you from??

Ok this Category is for South Jersey, so let's hear from some of you that may actually be from South Jersey...I live in Brigantine and it is not at all practical for me to drive 2 and a half hours up to where most of the people on this site hang out...So again, I'm near Atlantic City, and often can be found around Ocean City, if your from closer to these areas, leave a little about where you live and where you hang out...

I am by no means "from" south Jersey, but I do live here, thank you Air Force.

I currently reside in Sicklerville, although a do commute an hour each way to and from work up at McGuire AFB. I moved down here A; for the closer proximity to Atco Raceway and B; for the housing prices. Much cheaper than burlington county. I got a pretty kick ass townhouse that woud cost between 200-280 in burlington county for $125, and I've got about 50K in added equity since then. So that worked out.

I'm usually all over the place down here. I try to make the Friday night show at Fudds, but most of the time I'm at home fixing my perpetually broken black car!

I'm originally from Ewing, but I live in North Hanover/Wrightstown now, right outside of Fort Dix/McGuire AFB. I guess it's consider south jersey.

You may know this then. I've heard rumors of a shop in Vineland called FAST Performance (or something like that) has gotten a dyno.......

Can you verify this to be true or not and give info if true??

Yes, I believe the rumor you heard is true. I will find out from my dad what the exact name of the shop is, but you are close. My dad is having some work done to his '66 vette there, that is how I heard of it.

Cool!! I'm probably withing 2-3 weeks of needing some dyno time to tune my car, and although I still plan on taking it to Xotic Motorsports, that's a 1.5 hour drive for me, and having a dyno 30 minutes away would be really convenient for those "let's see what I do after this change" sessions.

Yeah FAST Motorsports in Vineland on Main Road has a Mustang chassis dyno. I think its like $100-150 an hour for dyno tuning. Its also got a 1/4 mile simulator.

welcome to all the new faces.

i'm originally from Lindenwold, lived a few years in Blackwood, but call Deptford my home. i've lived all over the southern part of the state, pretty much, and am in the Toms River area now (not sj by the largest stretch of the imagination) which is the furthest north i'll go. i grew up in a pig-farm town that turned into a commercial paradise. s'ok, though, as i wouldn't have traded it for anything else at the time.

Originally Lawrenceville (since I've been living in NJ) and then moved to Skillman a few years ago. About 5 minutes from mainstreet Princeton.

And presently, down in North Carolina for school.

I'm in Blackwood. If you see a Red 86 IROC driving between here and 295 through Deptford and Woodbury that is probably me.

See the funny thing is, when we talk South Jersey I think of Cape May up to Around where I am in Brigantine next to A.C. People in like Toms River call that South Jersey too, but it's really like the middle of the state...We should designate the "zones" with parkway exits, lol.
