Restaurant that serves Venison
Like the title says. Never had it, want to try it. I'll travel out of NNJ if needed also.

This place Clydz in New Brunswick has a bunch of meats you can try. I would call to confirm when they offer the various selection. Venison is good if seasoned and prepared properly....like anything else.

I'll ask the boss tomorrow. Worst case I can bring you some and give you some cooking pointers.

I've actually been to all the places posted. I never tried eating at Clydz (only drank at the bar), but I was looking to try it outside of a burger bun. Like Mike said, I hear it needs to be seasoned well, so I was looking for a well recommended place.

Lambertville station used to have a game menu. One of my all time favorite meals was their venison. They used to do venison medallions with red onion shavings in a raspberry glaze. It was out of this world good. Dunno if they still make it that way though.

Ugh, something like that is what I'm looking for! I see they have an elk dish in a cherry glaze that sounds pretty good. Might have to take the trip and go try that
