C5 Conversion

Is the C5 brake conversion worth it or should i just get a big brake kit?

c5 is cheaper and will have more options for pads and rotors. easier and cheaper to replace the brakes when it comes time and local parts stores will carry replacement parts such as slides. need a 17 inch wheel for the front brakes to clear, not all offsets will as well.

well if the offset causes it to not fit can't you just get thinner wheel spacers? ^^^.. but I would get the CTS-V Brembo Brake Kit. they are serious stopping power.

i would never use a spacer on a wheel. its not common but some aftermarket wheels won't clear.

Go with the C5. Cheaper to install, cheaper to maintain. with the C5, you can get the parts that day, if not the next, brembo or wilwood, etc you have to call a dealer and have it shipped to you. Don't get me wrong, If I could afford it, I'd buy a brembo kit, but a C5 kit will do just fine.
