Swap meet, who's going?
I didn't see a thread about it so now seemed like a good time to ask. Who's going this weekend? As a seller and/or as a buyer?

I will be going as a buyer. I'll have my S10 on the track in the show.

Yeah, last I heard it was a crapshoot. Can anyone who has gone in recent years chime in?

I've gone to every one for the past 5 years. There's good stuff but it's hidden among a lot of junk. Got to scan every table. I go for third gen and small block stuff. A few of my deals recently there have been $25 recaro seats, $30 camel hump heads in good usable shape, $20 5 speed Camaro console with a clock, and countless delco radios for $5 a piece. It all depends on what your looking for when you go whether it's "worth it" or not

If you're looking for used stuffed animals for the kids or a multi-colored, spinning wind chime - it's the place to be. There was a guy at the spring show selling used sneakers, I stocked up.

I was hoping to take a day off of work and go down to be in the car show portion of it, but since I have no transmission in the car I won't be going.

This is 100% correct. I've been there a few time over the last few years and all I got was sunburn and sausage n pepper sandwich. Nothing better then eating a sandwich at the 1/8th mile lol

Plenty of wolf T shirts too.
Last year I got 4 WRX wheels for $50. 2 $140 UPS backups for $20. I forget what else but there are hidden deals.

There is still good stuff, you have to be willing to look. I got a fast 90 for $200 last year, a corbeau seat for $20, Magnesium c5 wheels with tires for $300, previous year got an arb winch bumper for my buddies fj cruiser for $250...there are decent stuff if your willing to deal with the drunken party people, and sift thru the junk.

very very hit or miss though ... i mean we took bicycles with us and rode around to cover more area faster.
but my opinion/feeling is alota the good **** gets sold on CL and FB and then whats left often ends up there.
