Want to trade my LM cat back for another catback that is lets just say not as loud. I just had my 383 LS1 installed and with the new setup the car is way to loud now. The car sounded great with the stock motor in it but with the ported heads and big cam the LM really got loud. Let me know what you have.. Thanks..

Why not just swap the resonator for an actual muffler?

Looking into all options actually. I have been reading up on tech that its hard to find a good muffler that will fit were the resonator is located. I was looking into the Borla Xr-1 and the LM2. There is also a SLP tri-flow setup that adds 2 more resonators behind the tips..

Not really a fan of the Hooker catbacks on LS1's. They sound good on LT1's!! I have been on www.ls1sounds.com for the past 2 hours checking out different exhaust setups. I have narrowed it down to a Borlamouth, Dynomouth maybe, Magnaflow catback, or just using my old cats on my new y-pipe.

I put a mangaflow 3" with 4" body and 20" long on mine and it helped a bit.
