efi connection LT1 to LS1 conversion
has anyone gone through with EFI connections kit for the LT1 to eliminate the opti. it looks like it might be a good thing with the exception on the $2320.00 price tag. thoughts and comments on this kit?

I just picked mine up a few weeks ago for the new setup. Haven't installed it yet but from what I read, it performs just as intended. I was going to replace the opti and harness when I get the new motor together so realistically, this is only ~$1,000 more. Getting rid of the opti and tunability were my biggest pros in picking this up.

Two local guys with this, damn!
Sweet, I gotta see it in person, and to the OP, I haven't heard anything bad about it... but for a near stock engine, seems like a hellofa lot of coin for not much gain...

these were my thoughts about it... but i still think even though my engine is still a pretty standard 383lt1 not really needing a kit like that i would have done over the ltcc, but its just so expensive, but deff seems to be the way to go if you want to loose the lt1's main weak point..

i originally had the ltcc then sold it off to get this. i went from calling all different places and tryin to figure out wat i was going to do for a real good dyno tune to bein able to have anyone tune it to me that alone is worth it.

yea i hear you on that... but i mean i really didnt ahve any trouble getting my car tuned... the tunes for a n/a car really arent that crazy... when you start doing boost or big shots then the tuning gets alittle more in depth... from what iv seen at least...

Will be boosting here so that was a big reason I'm going with this setup.

i believe this would be a good conversion even if you aren't going crazy...its less PITA maint. and you can wash your engine it would take away the "fun" of working on a LT1
i just have a hard time spending 2300 on that....but i guess if you keep going through opti's it would be worth it.
