Engine good(reliable) for nitrous?
N2O:
100-150 shot of nitrous wet sys.
Eng:
What would have to be done to a stock LS1? (to be reliable and not have to worry about damage?
Would this engine be good?
Or should I look into getting forged internals?
Looking at not so much a daily driver but every other day and only sprayed every once in awhile. If I go stock LS1 I will be upgrading the basics ie no machine work req.
Any help/advice is appreciated.

why bother? stick a cam in it and go single digits!
seriously though just a good tune, colder plugs, and some timing pulled along with the basic nitrous necessities (window/wot switch, fpss switch, etc.) and you can rock that no problem. i'd look into the nitrous outlet's plate systems too.

Stay w/ the 100 shot..throw that on a bolt on car and you'll have a runner.

Stand alone fuel system with 116 or higher in it, and spray a 200 shot.

You'll be fine with a 150 shot on a stock bottom end. Just make sure it's setup right

That engine has hyper pistons. People spray on them all the time, but they are less forgiving than forged slugs.

Wait, I'm a little confued... your asking about spraying a stock LS1 and you posted a GENI smallblock stroker?
a STOCK LS1? I would do colder plugs, for a 150 shot to be safe, I would go TR7's or a non projected tip plug, A tune or something like a Timing Tuner or Lingenfelter Launch controller to aid with timing so you can run normal timing the rest of the time. Fuel pump, and send it.
