March 2017 Meet - Sun 3/26 Speed Raceway, Cinnaminson
March 2017 - Go Kart Racing!
We're closing out the winter months with some Go Karts down in the southern part of the state! We previously visited Speed Raceway in Cinnaminson as a group & had a blast. We found out a few things that day: - Check your chivalry at the door.
- Apparently, our bigger members know a thing or two about throttle control.
- GoPro footage will land you in everyone's good graces.
- Face-shields are for the birds.
Date: Sunday, 3/26/17 - Rain or Shine
Time: Meet at 12:00, go in at 12:45
Speed Raceway
1103 Route 130 South
Cinnaminson, New Jersey 08077

In.
I think I had more fun at this place than V17 when it was still in business. At least as much. Very quick, have the graphs and rankings that are required for bragging purposes. Well worth the drive, and I think we did 3-4 races last time.

V17 was infinitely better. Road rage and drifting was allowed, and raced in packs vs this steeple chase actual racing BS.

So what do we need to do before we arrive there? Make reservations? Purchase races in advance?

You can purchase in advance to avoid any line that may be there at the front desk, but no homework on your part is needed.
You need to show up with your friends ready to have fun

You can race until your heart is content! That's going to be a personal preference thing based on each individual. I'll probably be in for 3 or 4 races, and I'm sure I won't be alone. There will be others than only do 1 or 2 races, and some that do none at all.
For reference, each race is ~10 minutes long. They allow up to 7 people on the track at a time. There's limited down time between races--as soon as one race is over, they have the next group ready to go on.
They have a diverse list of race options as well; You can find them on their website here: http://speedraceway.com/gokart-racing-prices/ They also offer discounts for Police/Military/Fire.
I'll likely do the "3 races for $45 deal" for myself. It should be a good way to pass the afternoon.
