wicked 70 Camaro
So I was out last night runnin the city, I came up to the AC Dairy Queen and in they're lot sits a 70 Camaro with something like 14in wide sportsmans and what lookes like bicycle tires up front(skinniest skinnies i have ever seen). So I just had to stop and ask, turns out it was the owner of Dairy Queens car. Under the hood sat the mythical LS-7 that was only ever offered as a crate engine. infact the man has 2 of them, one in another 70 Z28, he has 3 70 camaros. For those of you who aren't BBC savy, the LS-7 is a 454CI BBC, 12:1 CR about 500hp out of the box. this one just happens to have a single plane intake holley 950, full lenght headers MSD ignition/2 step, built TH400, moser 9in rear(that he bent), lakewood suspention, custom grind .620 lift cam. Thing is an amazing car, I'm trying to get him up to the nats this summer. Or atleast TRH

I'm not entirely sure that the LS7 was only offered as a crate engine.
ETA: sounds like a sweet car though!
ETA II: just checked wiki (I know its not always perfect, but WTF right?) and I guess the LS7 was only ever a crate engine. interesting.

Even if he did, he won't post. We are just a buncha little kids!
The LS7 was/is offered in the Z06 Vette.
The LS-7 was ONLY offered as a crate motor because it was designed right before the crackdown on emissions.
