i always wanted a 78-82 vette and stick sidepipes on it. i don't see any tips out the rear so i say functional.

its a nice car. i dont understand why i see all the hating on other fbodies. the exhaust is nice and big deal it has tires that stick out....i bet that thing hauls
pipes might be functional as it has no rear outlets and i dont see anything suggesting otherwise.

Yea, without seeing any shots from underneath I would assume fake sidepipes and dumps under the car. But who knows.....

Those are real Hooker Sidemount headers. They are not cheap.
I think they are fake because the chrome ones tend to "blue" on the primary tubes near the front of the car, unless you take very good care of them.

Those could be C3 vette ones adapted for use. They also make them for 67-69 Camaros, and they used to be in production for 70-73's. 2nd gen Hooker sidemounts are considered the Holy Grail of 2nd Gen exhausts from what I remember. I've seen mint ones sell for $2500.

Don't like the side pipes or the extra wide wheels. After market wheels and lowered springs freshen up the car just fine.

nice. I always liked the sidepipes on 2nd gens. And yes, they are pretty expensive. The Hooker sidepipes for a 2nd gen are like $1200.

I think the side pipes are functional, it looks liek they're attached to the headers. Back wheels are wtf though
