I'll be there in *my* '94 to see if the tinkering I did with the tune does anything. Wish I had the extra $$ to replace my antique drag radials, though.

I'll be there Friday for sure though. I get out of school at 4, have an hour drive back here, and have a meeting at 7 so I don't think I can go

It's too hot to get a good et but if you need seat time you'll be ok.

Temps are dropping already, supposed to drop to 59 tonight. I'm going. Red '94 Z28, blue jeans, reddish T-shirt, and next to no hair.

well i went tonight, best time was a 14.3 :/ little disappointed i didnt break into the 13's. gotta practice my starts i think.
and damn was i nervous the first couple times, haha i looked like a idiot going down to the staging lanes with my hatch open, haha oops! ran 20 times too. i supposed ill let air out of my tires also since i spun a bit a few times andlet the car cool down more also and maybe ill break the 13's.

I was having problems with my tune after I tinkered with it, and stupidly left my laptop home so I couldn't straighten it out. I packed it in after 2 runs.

another was a R/T of .146
60' time of 2.109

yea, getting those 60' times down a couple of tenths will certainly get you into the 13s.
Lower the rears to 26-28 psi to start, and pump the fronts up to ~50 (so they roll better), then just keep practicing. I assume that you are on normal street tires all around, correct?

nice time blue z. sometimes i wish i had an ls1 : ( when i go back im breaking the 13 second mark and 100mph speed
it was a humid night last night, and i was told to lower my tire pressure a bit so i can grip better, but i didn't feel like it casue i had planned on going home after one last run and i ran my best time wit hthe A/C on ugh, i only had it on to run the fans so it would stay cooler.
oh well i ran pretty consistent times throughout though i ran consistantly 14.3x for my last few runs so i know i can do it!
is it odd that my 1000 foot times is like low 12's yet in 320 feet i gained 2 seconds?
i raced a s197 msutang and had him by half a car til the very end and as soon as i hit top of third he pulled on me by half a car pretty easily, kinda ticked me off, lt1's have barely any good top end.

No because I've thought the same thing about the 1000' mark.
They have a compressor so you can air back up. I have one in my truck too if you're going on Friday, so you don't have to wait in line.
