3200 to 4000 stall

I'm looking for some thoughts/suggestions on increasing the stall from 3200 to 4000. It's an edge torque converter. Would the stall increase be too loose for street use? What kind of et improvements could I see if any? I'm still running a stock z28 10 bolt rear with nitto's so I know I can't launch it at 4000 but would it help my time at all? Currently launching at 2500 rpm's to prevent tire spin. Engine is a 3.5 liter 60 degree v6 running 15 lbs boost with a performabuilt level 1 a4 tranny with trans cooler.

I would call Edge, and ask them what they can do with regards to upping the stall and its affect on top end slippage.

How does the current converter do with getting into boost on line?

If you are spinning now, it won't help.

I would look into a smaller exh housing if you can...

Like above said, call the converter company and tell him what you want to do.

If that setup is anything like a turbo Buick the higher stall might not help. Your gonna need to find a way to build boost on the line with a better tire I suppose

Correct.

Small exh wheel, a converter spec'd for the setup.

assuming your making 15psi on pump gas ,if you were to get a meth kit and add 10 more pounds that's 100hp. I don't know your setup but it's a huge bang for the buck

Already have a meth kit installed which comes on at 10lbs of boost for added insurance. I don't want to push my luck with too much boost since I still have the stock pistons which aren't forged.
