LS on LT k member

I have a LT specific tubular k member and I'm looking to make some use of it. Anyone ever swap LS into LT without swapping the k member? I see hooker makes a motor mount kit and was wondering if anyone has used it or anyone else's kit. I know this is the cheap way out but this k member is like brand new and was given to me, I would feel bad selling it and I honestly don't think there's a big market for it. Anyone that has any input I'm all ears.

Yea, buy their BBC plate mounts and toss in a real motor.

(but yes, to answer your question AJE claims you can adapt the K to LTX/LSX/BBC)

You can adapt there universal K to all of those but I'm not sure if you can do that with the LT specific K. They are different. Pre LS there wasn't a universal K. After the LS came out they made/make a universal so it works with any motor.

Could you use sbc motor plates on a lsx and attach it that way? Because cant you use the sbc motor plates to put the ls motors in sbc cars? and I bolted a lt1 in a sbc with no issues.

I didn't mean actual motor plates. I meant the mounts that go in the original location but are on plates for adjustability

Spoke with AJE, they are going to install the LS mounts onto my k member and re powder coat it for $150. If for some reason they can't get the mounts to work they will send me a new LS K for $150.
