I want to say Brian (Blackbird) had them do some work, and they did a 100% polish on one of his wheels.

I did have them straighten 1 of my axis touring cup rims awhile back. My neighbor had 2 of his aftermarket Porsche rims done. They were 2 piece..straightened out the lips and repainted the centers. They do excellent work but sometimes have a backlog of work, so a speedy turnaround may not be possible.

what about the other 3?? LOL

i think i had a vette wheel straightened there, was just a minor ding on the inside lip tho, this is a little more involved. the WS6 rims need to be stripped, polished, and recleared.

I have my wheels there now for refinishing. I will get them back tomorrow or Friday. They are the high polish 2000 WS6 wheels. I'll post when I get them back including pictures. Mine looked bad because of the clear coat coming off in spots. After 13 years it was not unexpected. They said they would look like new. I'll let you know.

I guess I'm the only person who had an awful experience with these guys. I took a small chunk out of a wheel I had and bent the rim, brought the wheel to them to see if they could do anything. Got assurances up and down they could fix it and I'd have it back in a week. Went back after the week and they said they were done. The weld looked great, however the color was totally off. They told me to come back in another week so they could repaint, no big deal.

Go back, get the wheel, put it on and the thing is shaking like ****. Try to get it rebalanced, was out by pounds. Bring the wheel back, they tell me itll be ready in 2 weeks. For 2 weeks after that they are ducking my calls. Finally I get the wheel back and it's still totally off. I did this 4 or 5 times and it took 3 months to get my wheel back to where the whole car didn't shake like crazy at any speed.

Ultimately, the last time I got the wheel back I had asked them to repaint it again because it had gotten so beat up from the straightening process. This time they had only painted the face and left the barrel of the wheel in primer.

For a repaint I could see using them because ultimately the face of my hypersilver wheel looked dead on in color to the others but wouldn't use them for much else

Wheels were not ready today. They said it might take until Friday so I hope to be able to post the results tomorrow night. We'll see how it goes.

Got the car back. Wheels look good.

Sorry for not posting more pictures but it has been raining.

It was ready Friday at 4. They said Thursday or worst case Friday so they weren't late. They have a one year warranty on the clearcoat. The curb damage is gone. I couldn't find it on any of the wheels. One had a badly damaged lip. Metal was gone. I thought I would see some evidence of a repair but I can't.

They quoted $700. When I hesitated they said $600 if I paid cash. I spoke to Matt.

When I bought the iroc the front wheel was bent and missing about 3" of lip, they welded in a piece, polished, and repainted the gold for I believe $75. but thinking about it that was 10 years ago... holy ****, can't believe its been that long

I believe it cost $100 for them to fix an out of round 15" S10 wheel a few years back. They do solid work and regardless of the piles and piles of wheels they have lying around the shop they have a good turn around.
