I believe you start the vehicle, and hold both the lock and unlock buttons on the keypad, the horn will sound and then you can go for a ride and see if it resets.

if its like my CTS, put the key in 'run', hold lock and unlock until car honks, then go to each tire and let air out for 2 seconds, wait for horn to honk and move on to the next untill all 4 are complete

I have this saved for my 2008 Silverado:
Quote:
Turn "ON" the ignition, with the engine OFF.
Apply the parking brake. IMPORTANT: If the learn mode cannot be enabled, ensure the TPM system is enabled in the PDM.
Turn the exterior lamp switch from "OFF" to parking lamps 4 times within 4 seconds. A horn chirp will sound and the low tire pressure light will begin to flash indicating the learn mode has been enabled.
OR
Holding Lock & Unlock buttons on the Key Fob
IMPORTANT: If a horn chirp does not sound after 35 seconds for any of the 4 sensors, turn the ignition "OFF" to exit the learn mode and repeat the procedure from step 1.
Starting with the left front tire, increase or decrease the pressure for 8-10 seconds, or until a horn chirp sounds. The horn chirp may occur before the 8-10 second pressure increase/decrease time period has been reached, or up to 30 seconds after the 8-10 second pressure increase/decrease time period has been reached.
After the horn chirp has sounded, proceed as in step 4 for the next 3 sensors in the following order:
Right front
Right rear
Left rear
After all sensors have been learned, exit the learn mode by turning "OFF" the ignition.
After the learn mode has been exited, adjust all tire pressures to the recommended psi
After adjusting all tire pressures to the recommended psi, run the tire pressure check in the DIC to see that the correct pressure is listed.

Did you start by over inflating the tires? I've seen it done multiple ways, some people say let all the air out and then fill it, then the reserve by over-inflating then releasing the air. I hate TPMS, I have a dead sensor I've been stalling on replacing when they cost $50-$70 to replace.

I might be wrong, but my 2012 Colorado needed a TPMS tool to reset them. There was no provision to do it without the tool.
This is the tool I bought to do it:

I've tried resetting my 2009 with no luck. I can get the 1st tire but when I go to the right front it never detects it and honks. I have 4 new sensors so I gave up and just ignore it. It was a waste of money for the sensors that I thought would be nice to have a proper working system.

My local napa has a tool that will scan each sensor. This way you know whether its working or an issue.
