Wendy's/Lowe's Cruise night - Thursdays in Hackettstown
For those of you that are new to the area or the forum, there is a Cops n Rodders sponsored cruise night at Wendy's and Lowe's parking lots in Hackettstown every Thursday night during car season. It started about a month ago and will run through September.
Cars start coming as early as 430-5 pm.
Location is:
215 Mountain Ave
Hackettstown, NJ.
Weather pending, I'll be there this week.

Hmmm maybe I'll join you guys with the GTA before they are over. Depends on how much I trust it. But considering its made a 30 mile run with stops I'd probably trust it. I do need to check out Larry's car at some point if he shows with it (The Gold one). However I do agree, weather is an issue.

No show this week for me. Rain killed it so worked in the shop instead. Maybe next week.

Is anyone going tomorrow? Supposed to be good weatherwise. I'm debating on whether to take the GTA or not, have 85 or so miles on the motor since I redid it. No apparent issues as far as I can tell. Oil Pressure is good and the temp has never drifted above 200. Since Larry's shop is so close I suppose if the car did act up I can always get rescued there and I could fix it down there....
Sometimes you just gotta drive it, I've been putting the car under load on Skytop Road which is not easy on a car and it performs beautifully.
Hell with it, its not much further than the Chatterbox distance wise, I'll run it down there if others will be there.

I'd like to, but I'm stuck in work again, for 36 hours.

Me and Larry were both there as well. I had the GTA, he had his gold 78. Was the white IROC yours? Me and Larry were split by a C5 vette over in the other lot. I think a guy who comes on here named Ron had his 69 Firebird 400, or I think it was him. I've seen his name floated on here and his cars and name at shows or mentioned.

Then I likely saw AJ's car. No, the Firebird was yellow or orangeish with spoiler convertible. Was getting dark. Def was not green.

I may be there, depends on what I'm doing. If I go it will be on the earlier side. Considering I made the run problem free I may do it again.

I think the trans needs more fluid....damn automatics...I hate automatics...small price to pay for something that is a blast to drive in the meantime while I have it. Was giving me grief but when it warmed up it ran great. I'll see how it does, if it does well I'll bring the GTA, if not, I'll be there with the daily just to BS. Motor is least of my worries at the moment.
