my motor is pretty stout considering it has tiny puny baby cam. 400 hp at wheels and 410 tq ain't bad considering heads were ported at the end of 1998. Theres been quite a lot of progress in LS1 head porting technology since then.
It has stroker crank already (370 cubic inches) which helps the torque.
If i put newer heads and bigger cam and fast 90mm intake, i think 500 hp is doable without affecting drivability. But i ain't got coin for that nor the need. its already got 2MCHPWR
I'd rather get some fender flares in the back and put on 12.5 inch wheels with 335's
