Unknown Radio Component

I should have taken a photo of the box in question, but it is located on the passenger side back-seat area which I have highlighted in red, the only wires connected to it came from the rear speakers and the antenna, I'm just trying to make sure that I can just remove it along with the rest of the stereo system without negatively effecting the entire system. Car in question is a 1995 Trans Am.

I would say grab a pic and a part number if there is anything. It does not sound stock.

This?

Its the factory amp. You can remove it if you are totally rewiring it with new. I pulled mine since I don't have a stereo in the car anymore ...

Yep, that's exactly it! Thanks Tim. I'm planning on fully removing the entire stereo system as well.

It must be a Bird thing, because it wasn't there in my old Camaro that was equipped with the Bose system.

Omar, I do but I have to take stock of it before I sell anything I might need. I have kicker panels and sail panels only.

Bose was a diffferent animal. All speakers were independently amplified.

Yup. Anything with that yellow coloring is more than likely air bag related.
