Best t-56 upgrade kit

Looking to rebuild a t-56 myself in the next couple of weeks. Just starting to do research. Not looking for the cheapest kit, but not looking for a 1000hp capable trans either. Any suggestions?

hanlon is a good guy... alls i will say is definitly go with the "viper" spec tail shaft... my car only makes 455hp and i snapped the stock tail shaft clean out on my 7th run on the car. its gonna cost you a few extra parts and the tail shaft housing has to be machined but hanlon does all this stuff him self and im sure will sell you what you need and you can probably ship him the housing for machining and have it sent back... ohh and youll have to buy a larger yolk too that he sells yolk was around $100 + u joint... thats my advice for you. dont make the same mistake i did and say yeaaa itll prob be alright
