Ive been into swimming for years, and I consider my self fairly good. Although it has been mostly limited to the local pool, whenever I have the chance I love swiming in lakes & the ocean. I hope this class is as kick ass as I think it will be.

i'm good in the water. my wife doesn't swim at all. one time she was messing with me at the deep end of the pool, so i threw her in. needless to say it took only seconds to realize she wasn't coming up so i went in after her. she was in the water less than 15 seconds. i'd like to teach her to swim, but i'd have to get a pool first. anyone seen the prices of in-ground pools lately? i'd need a second mortgage...
i've always wanted to try scuba. i had the opportunity in the bahamas a few years ago, but i was with my wife, and, well, she doesn't swim. lol.

can openers are my particular specialty....at my local lake, we usually had competitions to see who could splash the lifeguard on duty at the diving boards. the guard was in a really high chair, almost as high as the high dive. i was the only one who could consistently get the guard wet, which usually led to me sitting out of the water for an hour or so no one's beaten my record of 25 sit-outs yet.
