Friday night activities???
hey gang,
since the interest and scope of the event are growing there has been some discussion of doing something friday night.
after talking with tony up at isladn last year the idea of a mustang vs f-body came up. who would be interested in tearing down some mustang dreams the friday before the nats?
they woudl also have their usual friday night test and tune/grudge racing available for everyone to dial in their cars for the nats.
friday nights are muffled time trials only i believe.
also we would need some feedback on what racing format you woudl want to see. Footbrake bracket? electronics bracket? something else?
this is not a locked in thing, jsut wanna get some feedback before we dig too far into it.
i know i would defiantely be there to compete in a bracket

i doubt anything heads up woudl happen jsut because it doesn't get as many people involved.
prolly lookin at a foot brake bracket race since that is something anyone can get involved with.

I would like to see something heads up but I'm sure I'm in the minority.

the track is very interested in doing something friday night with us. i will update everyone once we figure out how many lanes will be available and what kind of class we can run.
island usually has a good number of stangs up there, so it won't be too hard to find people to beat up on ....er.....um....i mean....have a lovely evening of racing against

if my motor is done by then i could probably get in on some mustang beating as well, since it wont be limited to fbodies...right?

friday night is a regular test and tune, so you could run. teh shoot out would be f-body vs mustang only though.
still hav eto talk it over with the track to see what the plan will be.
