Is that an old picture perchance, or are the cars in your neighborhood a time warp?

Yeah, that picture is probably about 5 years old. That's my neighbors mother's car in the background (She's in her 80's) The IROC was my first car, purchased in 2003 when I was 17. Around the time this picture was taken, I decided to take the car off the road. I intended to just do that for the winter. It spent pretty much 5 years in my garage. Occasionally I would take it out to let it run, do a couple laps around my block and put it back under it's cover. Just a few weeks ago I decided to put it back on the road. I upgraded the front brakes with a Wilwood kit and am currently putting a new y-pipe and cat on her.

Really good looking brakes. How much are these (with installation)? I also want to upgrade the rears, which really are a suck design, as they hardly hold anything.

The fronts cost around $700 from Jegs. The only real modification for mounting them is that you have to cut off the ears that hold the original caliper bracket and then retap the holes that hold the splash shield and mount the new caliper bracket there. I also bough aftermarket steel brake lines from Jegs but I had to modify the ends because they came with banjo fittings instead of straight threaded ones. The last little problem I ran into was when I went to put my original lug nuts on and realized that the new studs were 1/2". Woops.
I want to redo my rear brakes as well but I think I may just keep them stock. It would be pretty pricey and from what I understand the majority of the stopping power comes from the fronts.
