Quick JEEP ?
Since alot of people here have jeeps here, quick question...
i know the sealed beam headlight on a 2000 XJ can be replaced with silverstars, but what size is needed (9005, 9006 etc) ??? or is there a better similarly priced replacement lamp thats brighter than stock?

They should be 6054s. GE makes a high-output version that's supposedly good and budget-friendly. Check this page out - http://fitchva.com/jeep/?p=58

Yup, if you are looking for a quick and cheap upgrade to the awful stockers, then silverstars, silverstar ultras, or the GE H.O. lights are all good for you. As noted above, the Silverstar and GE H.O. lights are pretty similar in light output. The Silverstar Ultras are a bit more money, but they will perform a little better overall.
I have Silverstars in my XJ on a stock harness, and they were leaps and bounds better than the stock sealed beams that I replaced. I am planning on making my own headlight harness, but haven't had the time.
