Door Panel???
hey guys i was allways wondering about the door panels on 3rd gen T/A's now my 87 is like this one
now i have seen some 87's with this panel
Does anyone know why this is???

from what ive seen, the first one like yours is more of a camaro panel, the later is the firebird one

firebirds had the top style standard, and the bottom one a option till i think around 1990. After that, the birds really did away with the top style alltogether. The wrap around armrest was still a option, the the updated trim around the handle was standard.

the bottom one is a gta door panel. i have the ones that you have on my car now but i got the gta door panels and they are being reuphulstered.

Its not specifically a GTA thing. Trans Am's had the option to have it also.
