LS7 Clutch alum. flywheel or no

Ordering my clutch hopefully tonight.

Is it worth spending the extra 100$ for the weight savings of about 10lbs on the flywheel.

Car has never seen the track but I do drive it hard.

Is there anything else i should do while the trans is out ?
Any other parts i should get?

Already have the tick adjustable MC w/ remote bleed (thanks "V")
Ordering a GM slave, pilot and throwout bearing when I order the clutch

Anything else ? bolts?

Possible to do the rear main seal and oil pan gasket while I am in there?

Pan has some seapage, but the rear main isn't. Probably won't mess with it.
Thanks Charlie

As far as the clutch any advice on that ?

Seems like you got it pretty much covered. The tick master is tight to install.

I take the master off the brake booster then take the 4 nuts off inside that hold the booster to the firewall off... you wont get the booster out but it will slide a few inches out which helps a ton.

I saw that in the write up, was going to wait to see what the situation was like but I have faith now. Thanks again

Ordered everything except the throwout bearing which I did not see listed any where on tick or ws6store. So I will just make my way down to a dealer and pick one up.

Saved at least 80$ between prices on ws6store /w the free shipping compared to any other place I looked. A+

yea, the throwout bearing is on the end.

Here is a picture of a LS style slave pulled apart without the throwout bearing pictured.

Here is a pic of my LS7 slave. The throwout bearing is there as well. The bearing in the package in the back, is the larger size CTS-V pilot bearing.
