Since it will prolly be awhile before Craig answers....
He talked to the kid last week, and he's supposed to find out from him Monday (after the guys talks to DHL) whether the trans will be here soon or not. The guy told him that if the trans is lost or whatever, that he will mail a refund check to him on Monday.

i am a maybe. if i can get the LS1 dropped by then i will be going. i am done with the 305.
i think when the previous owner did his timing chain replacement her messed something up and i don't feel like wrestling with it anymore.
if anyone wants to stop by my house any night this week there will be a 305 removal and prep for the LS1 going on. if it is raining a little i will be using my big fancy $10 power garage
the LS1 shoudl be plenty to drag my car well into the 12's at least. once i am done with common bolt ons i expect solid 11's. once the turbo/fmic appear i should be into the 10's
good thing this is my "mild" combo while i save money for a big cube LSx based engine

My car is probably not going at this point....insurance company is only open M-F 8:30-4, and i work m-f 8:30-4:30. Work has been hell, and since i need to reveiw the whole quote with them over the phone (already have the quote) it's a 30-40 min. phone call, and I can't take time out of my work to do it. Blah....i'm beginning to dislike my job more and more.

i looked at the mapquest for it, i have to drive to 78 or 80, which is like 40 minutes northwest. but from there, it's not too far.
but if you guys want to meet me somewhere, that would be cool. i don't think i'm gonna drive 20 minutes south so i can go back up north again.
and i have a pretty decent mini dv camera, with a firewire output (i don't have firewire on my laptop, but you could probably borrow the cam to get everything on the computer).

we usually leave from ewing, up 31 to 202...so anywhere on that path would probably work pat.
