We have been hard at work through the holiday weekend getting some details finalized and keeping the new ideas rolling.
Our first meet of 2008 is all setup. On Saturday, January 19th, we will be heading to the Firkin Tavern in Ewing. Just as we did this past January we will be taking over the game room at the Firkin for a great buffet meal and lots of laughs. There are a limited number of seats available, so we ask that you reserve your spot early to avoid getting shut out. For the details about the meet please visit the thread in the NJFBOA events forum,

We look forward to seeing everyone out at the Firkin Tavern in January.
We have also started a poll to determine the the color of our next hooded sweatshirt order. The hoodies were a great success last year in black with white print and we would like to print them again. The discussion of changing the colors to gray with black print came up so we have put it to the members to decide. Please check out and vote in the hoodie poll posted in the Lounge,

The 2008 NJFBOA Calendar is just about ready to be sent to the printer, and we have started taking orders for them. The price for each is $15.00, and that includes shipping. We will be sending Private Messages to each of the members who we choose to have their cars featured in the calendar later this evening. Each of those 12 members will be receiving one calendar free of charge as a thank you for letting us use their pictures. For more information and a look at the cover of this year's calendar, please see this thread in the Lounge:

Another recent change that was implemented at the request of members was to amend some of the ways a person can get a user title. To date we have only handed out user titles to people who have achieved, positively or negatively, something memorable ;o) .
We have added a new variety of user titles that are based on quarter mile achievements. To see more of the details about the new user title program check out the thread in the Drag Racing Forum,

We would like to once again thank you for your support of the NJFBOA. Expect to see a lot more announcements throughout the winter. We have a lot of projects coming together that we can't wait to share with everyone.
