Question t5 shifter question

Hey I have a t5 with no bellhousing, does anyone know if u can use a t56 bellhousing from an lt1.

a lt1 bellhouseing does not fit on a 3rd gen t5, there totely differnt.

I think the way the slave bolts up and works is one of the reasons. I forget, haven't look at a T5 bell housing in like 7 years.

LT1's have a pull-style clutch

the way the slave, bellhouseing and trans are totely differnt between both cars i have a t56 in the vert and a t5 in the 91 messed with both know the differnce

The '83 bellhousing is for mech. linkage with the T5. 1982s had the mech. linkage with a T10.

cantm use a t56 shifter for a t5 the t56 shifter is longer becuz it goes on to a 6 speed.
