Car plans for over the winter

So heres wahts going on guys... im sick and tired of street tires and WEAK launches... so here it goes... over the winter the ta is getting some upgrades

-Moser 12 bolt
-3.5 ALUM. driveshaft
-DS LOOP
-Racetronix fuel system
-TNT shot upped to 125
- ET DRAGS

right now i have a good portion of the cash saved up, so hopefully if everything goes as planned (no unexpected problems where i have to spend money) i should have the REAR and fuel system in by march, after that the new driveshaft and et drags will come ( ill run on the BFG drag radials i have in the mean time)

so waht do you guys think? i hope to go somewhere in to the 11's

I'm a complete noob when it comes to racing, but... what do street tires have to do with the list you put up there? Just curious.

he's afraid of breaking the stock rear by using slicks, so he's sticking with street tires, which are far from optimal for traction.

what gears are you planning to run?
sounds like a winning combo as long as you make teh mechanical end of teh suspension work with you. i wouldn't go any bigger than a 26x9.5 slick on any car running 10's or higher.

later

from 3.42's to 3.73's is like nothing especially with the 2.66 first gear id just go with the 4.10's if those are your options...you also say small cam...small cam meaning ls6 small or tr224 small or a ttp equilizer small?
