yeh today was a pretty good day want to thank 1qwikbird for the use of the race rubber the course was a good mix of fast and technical elements hats off to nnjr scca. the course was about 1mile long. First run was to remember the course, we didnt run till3rd heat so it was real slow around 82.0 next run was a little better 75.0 3rd run im in the 73's 4th run I go 72.5 but its dirty with 2 cones. Last run of the day I click off a 71.8 for the class win by over 3 seconds and a pax of 13th out of a little over 100 drivers. the car was pretty darn good with a new uncoventional spring package under it. Ill post up some results and some video in the next couple days .

nice job!
my PAX was 24 but raw was 17 out of 122! I was happy with the mostly stock M3.
why'd chris only get a few runs in?

I didn't get any runs in. I couldn't reach the pedals once I was strapped into the seat. Well I could reach them, but not enough to feel comfortable to take the car out on course. I was completely extended and had no feel for the clutch and wasn't sure if I was seeing full brake travel. So rather than put someone on course, the car or myself at risk, I got out of the car.

So did the pics come out OK? Or should I keep my day job?

Did I take all those pics? Some guy was telling me to get a polarizing screen or something to reduce the glare and color washout from the sun. I'm not a camera guy so it kinda went up and over my head. I looked through his camera and it make a huge difference. Kinda made it look like a cloudy day, but still have bright color contrast. His shots didn't seem to have the bright sun glare coming off the windshield that some of your pics have.

The car looked good. Very flat compared previous outings and I think the new mill is making just a tad more power than the old mill. Just a tad. You seemed to move pretty quickly from point to point.

Post up the pictures and video.....NOW

To answer the question we think it was a grand marquis or the ford equivalent.

How did you make out with the gearing and shifting? Did you need to get out of 2nd at all?

i hit the rev limit in 2 different locations. the first spot was in the slalom where i was working, and the second was towards the end going towards the middle of the lot after that very slow left hander. wasn't worth the time to go up to 3rd.

Check out the sidewall of the front tire. I think we might need to go up with the air pressure? Or is that a result of the massive about of grip the car now has (kinda joking, but not really sure)?

From what i gather reccomended front is around 34-32 hot and rear is 30-28 so we were close maybe up 2 in the front and down 2 in the rear but the car felt pretty neutral. Only problem is im all out of rear shock

Is it the shock itself beyond its limits or the fact that yours are kinda leaking a bit? is it worth swapping mine onto your car? Same shock, just not all blown out?
