Fixed...and no.
Most "British" car companies are owned by thier former enemys or former colonies.

Lotus actually uses GM's Ecotec in Europe and Toyota's 1.8 in America. The Lotus Exige and the old Vauxhaul VXR220 as well as Opel Speedster were the same car. The Speedster was replaced by the front engined, RWD, Saturn Sky aka now the Opel GT.
Opel Speedster.
What would be funny is if Pontiac brought this over years ago as the 2nd generation Fiero. If GM worked globally then like they do now, its very easy to see that it could have been.
Lotus is owned by a small Mylasian automotive firm I belive. Lotus was owned by GM at some point.
Aston Martain is owend by its race team, Pro Drive and some other investors.
Land Rover and Jag are both owned by Tata motors.
Ford had a big sell off to gain some capitial.

Um...Aston Martin, me and my girlfriend saw one for sale at the dealership somewhere in Central, we checked it out - it was the most beautiful car I've ever seen. She now wants one, and I would not mind driving around in one
Oh, and as far as other people saying Camaro is garbage, DEAL WITH IT, its called an opinion, and last time I checked everyone was entitled to one, and you don't even have to own a car manufacturer to express one, WOW! I know shocking...

Panoz is an American Company, owned by Don Panoz, also the founder of the ALMS series. They use Ford engines in their cars, but other then that they are their own company

cool, wasnt sure. I knew they had some sort of relationship with Ford, and I thought they used the old Mazda RX-7 body molds for their cars too?

I never took Panoz's cars seriously mainly because in Russian Panoz means diarrhea. Now imagine yourself driving a car with a name like that...

Gotta love when things like that happen.....like when Chevy tried to sell the Nova in Mexico. Loosely translated (since my spanish is quite rusty) Nova means "it does not go"
