edelbrock 7102 cam

Is anyone using this cam in a 305? I found 1 in my garage that i got when i bought my 84 z28 and not sure if its too much for the motor. Its the L69 motor with a 5 speed.

Thanks

It helps that it's a manual trans car but it seems like it's too big for a stock 305.
