4l60e transmission

Hey members,
I have a 4l60e transmission in my transplanted 94lt1 .
The brake switch on the pedal has 2 spades toward the rear , which are for an orange wire (constant 12 volt) and white ( brake lights). These wires are connected and all my brake lights function well. The remaining 2 terminals
that are facing front have 2 terminals that have one pink and one purple wire.
These were cut short at the connector and I don't see any place were they can connect. I have heard of these wires having to do with some lock-up feature of the tranny while braking. Could anyone explain this? I don't seem to have any tranny issues but would like to know if I am missing some necessary connection.
Thanks p.s. Is it possible that these wires have something to do with cruise control?
