whats this plug

i was pulling out my radio and noticed i had two plugs conecting to it. its the single cd head unit with equlizer. i know the big one is the power and the speckers but dont know what the other one is.

Yea i was wondering the same thing. Do you have the monsoon stereo unit? It has some sort of bare wire on it? If you have a factory amp in there, then im guessing the connector is for the front speakers, because the unit powers part of the front speakers while the rest is powered by the amp (for a monsoon unit at least) . Jake should chime in here with an answer

I believe it's for the cd changer. Even if you don't have one, I believe the wiring is still there.

i dont have the monsoon system, but i have a single cd deck. it seem wierd to put a cd changer on a cd deck.

They were available that way with the monsoon system, but I'm not sure about non-monsoon.

i believe the other connector also has the one wire for the steering wheel radio control option
