QuickJack Lift

I don't know if anyone is interested in one of these, but they are currently on sale at Home Depot: https://www.homedepot.com/p/QuickJac...7877040withTHD

My jack has officially given up on me and can barely lift a corner of my car. I don't do much work on my car these days, but since I stopped leasing and my wife's car is out of warranty, I'm doing oil changes and tire rotations at home. That made this a no brainer at $1200.

I'm still enjoying mine. I have an extra pair of their wall hangers I'd sell for super cheap if you want them.

They are great, much better than jacks/stands/ramps for most work. Enjoy

I'll just say that I may have set my car on fire if I had to continually put the bird on jack stands (high up too) and then back down as I was troubleshooting starter issues. It also allowed for quick up/down work when removing/reinstalling headers too. I had the vette up on it too while doing track day prep.

If you can't do a proper lift and will put any reasonable time in with your car, just get it.

7000 is a bit overkill for what you will be doing. 5000 works fine for shamu so it will work for most anything sans the bigger SUVs.

Just came in on Saturday while my car was on jackstands and I was replacing the front calipers. It looks like a gigantic pain in the ass to put together. I'm hoping to have it together the next time my wife's Jeep GC needs an oil change and rotation.

Getting all the fittings installed isn't hard but certainly tedious. Watch their YouTube setup video as it was really helpful in avoiding any issues. I think I had mine all setup in about 1.5hrs taking my time (always).

PM incoming.

The funny part was how the guy plays off the weight of the units. You see him hold his breath while lifting.

Thanks man. I found a comment on the product page saying it took a guy an entire afternoon with help. I'm really only worried about the hydraulics to be honest.

Thanks man. I might take you up on that too. Otherwise, let's go for a ride with Keith, I finally fixed my brakes and have an interior. Also, this is a great opportunity for me to plug a picture of my new brakes!
