compatability question

i have a wireless dealy thing for an old xbox, would that fit onto my xbox 360 and work properly? i know i have it around here somewhere but i dont want to look for it if it wont work, and i really dont want to spend 100 bucks to play xbox live with that hookup thing they got at target

I haven't tried it, but everything I have read says yes, it will work. And if for some reason it doesn't, you can find the wireless adapter for the 360 much cheaper than $100 (it was marked $71.99 @ Best Buy last week), and you can also use a wireless bridge to connect, which you can purchase for anywhere from $30-$50+

i finally found mine...it is a wireless G gaming adapter. says on the top "for playstation 2 and xbox" looks like it plugs in with ethernet cable or something. think it'll work?

yeah after i posted that i was kinda like 'wtf am i doing? my hands work' (but apparently my brain doesnt) so i plugged it in. it works but according to my xbox it doesnt get very great signal which is odd cuz everythign else in my house gets realy fast signal. must just be old or something but it'll do
