Atco 7/2 First time running the T/A
dot dot dot is right....
after a little bit of clutchular problems and some grinding of gears i was hovering around in the 13'4s and 5's with a few REALLY bad runs....cough cough ....heres the best of the night.
r/t .500
60' 1.925
330 5.543
1/8 8.498
MPH 84.46
1000' 11.029
1/4 13.143
MPH 107.93
not bad. kinda humid and muggy out. i was really hoping for a 12.7 area. the tires were crap but held up well for their ''condition'' (ask vinnie and nick ). clutch stuck to the floor a few times and second took a beating tonight....7 runs in a row...after 2 crap runs in a row i let her cool down and banged off the best runs of the night. i still think i couldve hit 12s if i stayed to race at night....good times all around.
some really fast cars there too...especially barney's and the red tmr ws6....wow rofl @ the corolla rotary that almost wrecked into the vert cammed ws6

Yeah, that guy couldn't control that corolla for ****. Every run I watched he was all over the place. Definetly some nice and quick cars out there tonight. It was cool meeting a bunch of you guys too,

yea it was a nice night at atco. No rain, and lots of members showing up. Too bad my car had to break before most people showed up. I can't wait to see the vids that Rob(Jersey TA got)

considering that vinnie busted off 12.8s before he broke leads me to believe that the humidity was hurting a few things. plus my tires...yeah...just ask a few around lol

i was down there at atco this passed monday and the DA was +2283. The "calculator" drops 3 tenths off of my time and adds 3 mph for a DA of 0000. I have no idea how true this calculator is but a few guys down there were telling me they were running 3-4 tenths off of there best.

thats what i was thinking....i pretty much placed my car as a 12.7/8 car before going....best i could grab was a 13.1 almost 108 trapping with a 1.9 60 on some really bad tires....all in all...adjusted i think i hit the mark pretty well.
took me a few runs and an hour of cool down time for some of the problems to shake themselves.
i do have 3 runs that were pretty bad because of the clutch sticking to the floor....time to bleed the slave and see if that helps
edit: if it helps anything...the first hour i hotlapped 6 runs in 35 minutes

humidity hu-shmidity.. why does everybody insist on blaming the humidity all the time? the humidity was 58% which isnt the best, but isnt bad by any means. temperature was in the high 70s, the barometric pressure was 29.78 which sucks. besides the track elevation, the barometric pressure seems to have the most influence in a DA calculation. it looks like it was anywhere from +1850 to +1200 by the end of the night, which was better than last week when rob(barneymobile) and jay (shortfuse) ran their cars, and i see they ran better as a result good job guys.
jay aka nastyellessone- a few friendly pointers- Get a good street tire or a drag radial, ur shifts definately couldve been faster, and it sounded like you shortshifted the crap out of 4th gear lol
