lets hear some funny storys about the wind today!

so all you central / north central jersayans know that there was some heavy wind today. lets hear what happened to you or observed..

i wake up to a crash in front of my house, my garbage / recycling is all over the street...the car cover on my camaro was being blowin against my neighbors house, and the 'for sale' wooden post sign for he house across the street blew over. friend of mine said a tree limb fell down and was literally 3 feet away from crushing his car. oops!

I feel like I'm in a tornado. With the wind blowing through all the trees here, its crazy. And when I went to take in the garbage, holy cow! It's worse here than it was in South Orange at school.

well where do i start, i made an appointment to bring my bike to honda a few days ago to get a recall taken care of and have its first service done, well on the way to the park way i had to dodge plastic bags and steal trash cans, so i finally get to the parkway and made it about 2 exits before i got off, the wind was so bad it felt like a hand pushed me into the next lane. Then i finally got on rt 27 in edison and, i noticed a train looked like it was leaning, once i got closer i realized the wheels werent on the track, damn train derailed, now it was only 2 engines and 1 car. As im sitting in miles of traffic on 27 because of all the downed power lines and such im looking up at all the branches and the power lines waiting for one to take me out. so i finally got to the dealer un harmed but this will be the last time i go out on the bike in 40-50 mph gusts

I didn't travel very far today but my dad said on the Delaware memorial bridge today they closed the outer 2 lanes so tractors wouldn't get blown around.

very smart people...tractor trailers were blowing left and right when i drove past them on today, sped right past them never know when a huge gust will tip it over.

Put out the recycling last night, found it blown all over my yard, the neighbor's yard, and the street this morning.

Last morning starting from 6am there was 2 or more helicopters flying around and looking for something. I saw one out of my window. it was just hanging somewhere around rt18.I live right by raritan bay medical center. what they was looking for?
recycling guys didn't have to do anything.. wind did everything for them.
I was pulling heads off the supercharged tbird outside. especially it was funn to drain oil and antifreeze.
Did I mentioned how much I love ford engineers?

Alex.

that wind sucked!!!

On the way to work, i was dodging recycling bin, bottles, papers ect. Driving my work truck downt he highway to he job site was like driving a sail boat ( box truck). And i've spent the last two days fixing electrical services on various houses/buildings that were ripped of by falling trees. Try working off an extension ladder or in a bucket truck in 50mph wind. F-this!

Leaving a visit to the hospital to see my father, I literally caught my 82 year old mother as the wind literally swept her up off of her feet. Caught her in mid air. She thought this hilarious and laughed for 5 minutes afterward. Likely that she'd have joined my father in the hospital if there'd been no one there to catch her. Some winds considering hurricane season is long past.

My home made plywood/lumber/metal Sheds roof tore off and smashed my neighbors mailbox off, and i had time to hide the roof behind my house before she noticed. Oh BTW shes a huge **** and always parks really close to my car on purpose so i have to move my other(one being the 924 or the formula, whichever is parked in front) car to get out. And sometimes she just straight up takes my spot. Oh i also witnesses a massive limb rip off a tree and nail 2 power lines in north long branch
