4th Gen Z28 Convert checking in Central NJ
Hey all picked up this 94 Z28 auto that was in need of some love and lots of wax. Fixed nagging issues got her running pretty smooth now just need to reprogram the speedo and pickup a cheap exhaust/muffler (budget) stock one has a few holes and is going on 19 years old Other than that I am happy thus far use it as a daily driver and enjoy dropping the top.
If you have any local suggestions of LT1 tuners please speak up if not I will be searching the forums. I have a cable and software just some trouble connecting blah. I will save that stuff for another thread.
I am a car guy stick with older cars and such anything computer annoys me but I always liked the 4th Gens so I gave it a shot and glad so far.

Thanks for the warm welcomes and all. There are so many Camaro forums I am glad I found something local. I will shoot ya a message regarding the cat back LS1ow.
I am hoping to make this easy enough for my wife to drive as her toy so i can get back to my Vette that hasn't moved in 10 years now until then I get to enjoy crusing back and forth to work with the top down.

Looks good, and it's cool that you take the kids out in it (I spied the baby seat in back)! Enjoy!

Vette is a 75' Stingray T-top little 355 with a 6-71 blower TH 400 3.90 rear and a few other goodies. I parked it after I watched a friend have a racing accident haven't driven since. Other than the obvious cleanup to get her running again I figure a week to sort out past unfinished work.

7mpg if lucky , will overheat if sitting too long, 3800 stall converter is only fun at the track so is a super hard shift kit guaranteed to chirp 2nd going slow as can be even with a cop behind you.
Fun in theory but not something you can take the kid out for ice cream in.If I was still in my 20's I would have it no other way but those days are LONG gone. I will bring her back just to piss off the neighbors kid and his rice polluting friends.

No programs yet I am a complete noob and have no idea what I am doing I picked up a cable from ALDLcable.com got a reading on a cheesy data logger but only part of info was showing up got frustrated and quit. I don't want to fry my computer If you know someone local that can help me reset the Speedo for the gear change that was done I would be sure to compensate fairly. I was thinking of just pulling it and sending to pcmforless.com but I am unsure of what gear the last owner installed so I need to pull cover to be positive. ugh. I just don't have time or cash for all of this.
I am trying to watch my budget cause I am paying out more than I am making right now
I am selling a 1972 Nova drag car if anyone is interested then I will have some cash 15k
man do i know how to get off topic

LOl Selling the 2004 SRX also or going to trade it in once my wife decides on what she wants had a car on order she changed her mind so I am on hold. We are cleaning house of all cars getting rid of 3 for 1 new one. SRX has 134,000 miles loaded V8 AWD yadda yadda... Normal wear for an 2004
$7,000 is very fair price for that one.
Didn't mean for this to turn into my sale thread lol but...
