We’d like to take a few moments to remember local racer Mike Romeo, who died in a car accident on 8/6. Mike was a PA native and friends with many of NJFBOA’s drag racers. Mike was a well liked racer, a friend to many, and a loving husband and father of three young sons. Rest in peace sir.

*Longtime member Tsar joined a 5k for Concord Hospital Payson Center for Cancer Care on May 17th. His team was a group of law students, and all money raised goes to cancer research. You can still donate here:

** July 2012 Meet – 7/21 Duke Island Park (Bridgewater) and Chick-Fil-A (Howell)
This month’s meet had a nice turnout and we all enjoyed a barbeque at Duke Island Park, followed by a cruise to the Chik-Fil-A in Howell for their cruise night! You can some of the pictures here:

Come hang out at Island, do some racing, whatever. Then everyone can head over to Applebees for dinner. Applebees has plenty of parking for us, even room for trailers. Track opens at 10; Meet at Applebees at 5:30 pm

--> October 2012 Meet – Saturday 10/20 (rain date Sun 10/21) -Flemington Speedway Historical Society Car Show, Lambertville
The Registration cost is $ 5.00 per car. The club is getting involved with this show to help preserve New Jersey's racing legacy. All years, cheap entry fee, food and more on site. Seems like a natural fit for us. Don't worry if your car is not 'show quality' Roll out, support the cause.
