Flemington Speedway Historical Society Car Show, Lambertville
General Info:
Meet Coordinator: Brandon aka ThoR294
Date: Saturday, October 21, 2017
Time: 7:00AM-3:00PM (see below for details)
7:00 AM Gates Open for Vendors & Exhibitors
9:00 AM Gates Open for Spectators
2:00 PM Awards Presentation
3:00 PM Car Show Ends (as a courtesy to spectators - fellow participants, vendors, & exhibitors are encouraged to arrive on time and display through at least 2:00PM)
Where: Flemington Speedway Historical Society Car Show
South County Park
1207 Rt 179
Lambertville, NJ
The Registration cost is $15 per car at the gate, or $12 for pre-registered vehicles.
Spectator Admission: $5.00 person —kids 16 and under admitted free when accompanied by adult
Flyer for event
It's good to be involved with a show that helps preserve New Jersey's racing legacy. All years, cheap entry fee, food and more on site. Seems like a natural fit for us. Don't worry whether your car is or is not 'show quality'. Roll out, support the cause, have fun.
Flemington Speedway Historical Society was created "To Preserve, Protect, and Document the History of the Flemington Fairgrounds and Speedway"
Brandon aka ThoR294 is coordinating the meetup this for us. Look here for meet up plans the week before the show. It would be great to cruise in together if we can arrange something.

Flemington Speedway Historical Society’s annual auto festival, presented by Lentini Auto Salvage, begins at 7:00AM. The show ends after the awards parade and presentation, which is scheduled to begin at 2:00pm.
• Hunterdon County Fairgrounds (South County Park) is at 1207 Route 179, Lambertville, NJ 08530 (near intersection of 179 and 202 in Ringoes).
• Flea market and swap meet registration.
• All (and we mean “ALL") types of vehicles, and all types of vendors are welcome.
• The event benefits FSHS as well as the Hunterdon County 4-H and Agricultural Fair. The Fair is lining up a variety of food vendors.
• Hunterdon County park rules: NO alcoholic beverages and NO dogs are permitted.

Does anyone know what classes are and who does the judging? Is it on grass or asphalt and what type of awards are given out?

So a friend of mine and myself are scheduled to go. Is there going to be a meet up in central jersey first (maybe the AMC by Scott's house  ) then head up to Ringos for the 2nd meet up?

Too early for me lol. Maybe if it was around 9 I'd meet up. I'm not sure if I'm driving anything to the car show yet

I got new plans now. I'm meeting at about 8:45 right in the center of Ringoes, by the carousel

Its open for cars at 7, maybe that is why. If the parking directions are anything like when I went years ago, the early birds are parked near the 4 buildings in a line, then they worked their way back. The middle of the area was actually nicer then the front. Look for me while you are there, I will be the orange 69 vert (my avatar pic) and my friend will be in his orange 69 Z (both with black stripes). Will probably be the only two orange 69s parking together
