Tire Suggestions Please?

Time for new tires on the camaro...

Even though I got it for sale... I could use em in the meantime..

Something entirely streetable.

I live in FL now.. so heavy rain is the only worry.. don't even bother thinking about snow.

Entirely streetable.. at the same time.. Z Rated... maybe if you have anything thatll look nice on my Z06 wheels..

275 40 17 i think. (z06 motorsports)

A lot of guys seem to like the BFG KDWs. BFGs are usually reasonable in price.

For a good tire at a good price, Kuhmo Ecta ASX is a very good tire and I have had many good reviews of it. Pretty good wear ratings too.

BFG's new Super Sport tire are also a good deal, but havent been out that long for me to hear a lot about them.

The KDW's are nice, but the Goodyear Eagle F1 A/S's have been my #1 tire I have put on several performance cars. And looking at Tire Rack, the price of the F1 is lower then the KDW from BFG.
For the cash, the F1 AS is one of the best tires out there on the market. I suggest thats be the path you take, unless you want to just put a good tire on there for a low cost, and then Id go with the Kuhmo ASX.

BFG's!! Always use these as a repalacement for "Badyear" tires. Better traction and handling with the new ones I put on mine.

i love my firestone firehawks. they are z rated i think. they rip through corners and don't seem to break loose alot. never had them at the track. directional tread and a pretty good price. i have 275/40 on the front 17x9.5 wheels and 295/35 on the rear 18x10.5 wheels. they seem real nice in the rain too.

falken azenis rt-615. unless you wanna dish out for expensive BFGs or bridgestones its the best summer tire. hydroplaning isn't even a concern, it disperses water great and the tread pattern is gorgeous.

I loved my KDW's. I run the KDWS's now, and I'm on my second set of those.

I have Nitto555 ( not the 555DR tires. ) The handle very well, no road noise and last.

Sumitimo HTZ III 275/40/17 are a great tire for the price. They are a about a 100 bucks a tire. Quiet, grip well, and as for the track. Dunno yet as I haven't had the time to go yet.

i have BFG KDW, and they are a pretty good tire. The tread life is a little low, and they seem to have high speed stability problems after 90 MPH or so.

I've heard great things about the KDWs. I went through a million tires on my car trying to find a good set I liked and went through Good Years, Nittos, Toyos, Firestones, Yokohamas, and settled on the Cooper 2XS. They come in 275 40ZR 17 too.

Thanks for all the help,

I went with the Sumitomo HKIII's

Wow, what a great set of tires...

Effortlessly drive in the harshest of rain, no hydroplaning yet.

I'm really happy with the tire.. they hug, had a little fun with em.

I reccomend them highly, as far as my short-term use goes.

Couldn't tell you about wear/tear though.

THANKS
