Eh... probably going to hit e town. My car can't make it that far.

what ever they are, a ds loop is required with SLICKS, not ET streets or DR or whatever, unless in the 12 second zone, and even there, no ones gonna turn you away. I'm not sure how Island got this nazi tech reputation. They only send you home if its completely a safety hazard, otherwise they'll point it out so you know and say "fix it for next time"

I agree with you, no nazi tech stuff there at all. None of the tracks in NJ have a nazi tech inspection, E-town/island are at the same level with tech concerns.

I think its because Island actually techs in cars at "tech"!! When I race at E-Town they just ask if I have all the proper equipment, I say yes and they say ok go ahead! I dont even take my car off the trailer. It is fully legal thanks to an NHRA rulebook and the always helpful people at Island but I could have the crappiest, most unsafe car and they wouldnt know because they never check.
