16" 8 lug wheels
Looking for a real nice set of steel 8 lug wheels from a 3/4- 1 ton Chevy/GMC Square body 73-87(91). 8x6.5" 16" diameter and I think they are 8 inch wide. Mine aren't real nice and one is a Dodge wheel, and that hurts my OCD, so I need at least 1 GM wheel, or a set of 4 really nice wheels.
Don't need to be perfect, but no rust/pitting, I am going to paint them so that's not an issue.

The 8 lug factory wides are getting harder to find. When I was looking for a set for my old truck I ended up buying an entire truck just for the wheels.

Ugh, the worst part is I know where a GREAT set is but the guy is a hoarder and won't sell them, even though he probably won't ever use them again. They are for his "plow truck". I even offered to swap wheels and money and put his tires back on my wheels, so he can use them. I figured I would ask here first and see what happens. Then i'll start looking on Craigslist.
I want the steelies because i want to run hub caps, i have the caps already, one of the few "original" items I like. I actually bought Mickey Thompson Cassic IIIs in 17", but I like the "pizza cutter" tire look more than the wide tires, plus going to get better mileage with the narrow tire

My brother has a set on his 84 GMC. I'll ask him if he would like to get rid of them. How much are you willing to go for a set? My brother is a hoarder but has shocked the world once in a while and let stuff go.

Maybe therein lies the difference. Or maybe I need the wheels from the GMT400 since 87 was the last year for the square and mine was an 88, so I got the GMT wheels instead. My year is odd and none of the part look ups for stuff work, so I have to go to the 87 model year to find stuff.
