go find a old car in the junkyard with a 4 banger and use that carb.

He has a 305cu motor. And the 4banger fbody is a 2.4L

I'm just making sure that you give out the right info....all the 3rd gen 4 bangers had the 2.5L Iron Duke....and we all know that the Iron Duke can't be beaten!!!

for a stock 305 i would suggest you jsut go to the parts store and get a rebuilt stocker. the q-jet is good enough for stock or mild 305's with no changes.
spend the money you save from buying a pricey carb on good stuff like rear gears and suspension upgrades.

Well you could do that too...but I actually meant the engine...Had a couple of buddies do the swap, didnt seem like too much of a pita. I dont know much about 3rd gens. but they said building up the 3rd gen tpi engines were a waste of time. Maybe it was just for their goals.
